What is autofeat

The delivery loop in six sentences, then where to go next.

autofeat is an autonomous feature-delivery loop for GitHub pull requests.

You open a pull request that carries a spec. You add the label autofeat:go. The GitHub App autofeat-axc receives the webhook and reads .autofeat/config.yml from the default branch only. A worker runs a coding agent inside a sandboxed container with egress enforcement. The turn ends with a push, a check run autofeat/<action>, a sticky comment, and a signed directive comment. That comment is the next webhook, and the loop continues until a gate, a budget ceiling, or a human merge.

open a PR with a spec
  -> add the label autofeat:go
  -> App autofeat-axc receives the webhook
  -> policy from the default branch (.autofeat/config.yml)
  -> worker runs the agent in a rootless container
  -> push + check run + sticky comment + signed directive
  -> the directive comment is the next webhook

Stages are review, gate, and merge. In policy.mode: full the loop can also plan, implement, and test. The default policy is conservative: dry_run: true and merge_mode: stop_before_merge. Autofeat applies autofeat:ready. A human merges.

Budgets (usd, tokens, minutes, turns) are hard ceilings. Extra keys in the config file are errors.
